Menopause Health Check
Our Menopause Health Packages are designed to provide a thorough assessment of women’s hormonal and reproductive health during the transition to menopause and beyond. Each package combines advanced ultrasound imaging, medical consultation, and targeted blood tests to help identify underlying causes of symptoms and guide personalised care.
Pelvic Ultrasound
A dedicated ultrasound of the uterus, ovaries, and surrounding pelvic structures. This safe, non-invasive scan can help detect conditions such as ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometrial changes, or other structural abnormalities that may contribute to symptoms experienced during menopause.
GP Consultation
You’ll receive a one-to-one consultation with a private GP to discuss your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors. The GP will review your ultrasound and test results, then provide a tailored care plan — which may include lifestyle recommendations, treatment options (such as HRT), or referral to a specialist if required.
Blood Tests
Our comprehensive blood tests evaluates to assess hormone levels (e.g., FSH, LH, oestradiol, progesterone, thyroid function), and to evaluate metabolic or cardiovascular risk factors. These tests help detect hormonal imbalances, thyroid dysfunction, or systemic changes associated with the menopausal transition.

Understanding the Male Pelvis and Its Role in Reproductive & Sexual Health
The male pelvis contains vital organs and structures, including the bladder, prostate, seminal vesicles, urethra, major blood vessels, and parts of the bowel. Together, these organs play a crucial role in:
- Urinary health
- Fertility and reproductive function
- Sexual wellbeing
When problems arise in this region, they can affect not only physical health but also confidence, quality of life, and long-term wellbeing.
Common Male Pelvic & Fertility Concerns
- Prostate Enlargement (BPH): Difficulty starting urination, weak stream, and frequent night-time urination.
- Prostatitis: Inflammation of the prostate causing pelvic discomfort, painful urination, or ejaculatory pain.
- Erectile Dysfunction (ED): Often linked to vascular disease, hormonal imbalance, stress, or prostate conditions.
- Peyronie’s Disease: Scar tissue in the penis leading to curvature and painful erections.
- Vascular Insufficiency: Reduced blood supply to pelvic organs, impacting erectile function.
- Bowel Disorders: Conditions such as IBS or inflammation that may mimic or worsen pelvic and sexual health symptoms.
Key Symptoms to Watch For
✔️ Difficulty achieving or maintaining erections
✔️ Reduced libido or changes in sexual performance
✔️ Frequent, urgent, or weak urinary stream
✔️ Pelvic or lower abdominal discomfort or pressure
✔️ Blood in urine or semen
✔️ Bowel changes such as constipation, bloating, or discomfort
Why Early Assessment Matters
Erectile dysfunction is not just a sexual health concern—it can also be an early sign of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or hormonal imbalance. Similarly, urinary and pelvic symptoms often overlap with prostate, bladder, or bowel disorders.
By combining ultrasound imaging, comprehensive hormonal and metabolic blood tests, and a specialist consultation, early assessment can provide:
- âś… Accurate diagnosis and peace of mind
- âś… Personalised treatment planning
- âś… Improved fertility and sexual function
- âś… Reduced risk of long-term complications
Taking Action for Men’s Health
A proactive pelvic and fertility health check is more than just reassurance—it is an important step in protecting fertility, maintaining sexual health, and strengthening overall male wellbeing.

Excellent service and really lovely staff. Eduardo was fantastic and made me feel very at ease. I got into the practice an hr early but was surprised that they could fit me in for my Ultra Sound. The staff were very friendly and I felt at ease due to being nervous about the whole situation. The Ultra Sound took about 15 mins it was thoroughly and surprisingly quick. After a year waiting for this i was pleased that i had booked with the hospital a good experience and i thank you all. I highly recommend the practice to anyone who is needing an Ultra Sound and surprisingly it was not that expensive.Posted on Jonny LethbridgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
