Lymph Node Health Check-Up
Lymph node health packages are designed to thoroughly assess the structure and health of your lymph nodes and detect any potential abnormalities. Each package combines advanced imaging, expert consultation, and (where appropriate) blood testing to provide clear insights into your lymphatic health.
Lymph Node Ultrasound
A dedicated ultrasound scan of the lymph nodes in the neck and surrounding areas will check their size, shape, and structure. This safe, painless, and non-invasive test can detect enlarged nodes, cysts, inflammation, or suspicious changes that may require further evaluation.
GP Consultation
You’ll have a one-to-one consultation with our GP to discuss your symptoms, medical history, and concerns. Your GP will review the ultrasound findings and any blood test results, then provide tailored medical advice and recommend next steps if needed.
Blood TestÂ
In all cases, blood tests will be performed to help identify infection, inflammation, or immune-related conditions affecting the lymph nodes. These tests can also support diagnosis and guide appropriate treatment or referral.

Lymph nodes are small, bean-shaped glands found throughout the body, including the neck, armpits, chest, abdomen, and groin. They are a vital part of the immune system, acting as filters that trap and destroy bacteria, viruses, and abnormal cells. Lymph nodes also produce and store white blood cells (lymphocytes), which help fight infection.
Common Lymph Node Conditions
- Reactive lymph nodes – temporary swelling in response to infections such as colds, sore throats, or skin infections
- Chronic inflammation – long-term enlargement due to autoimmune conditions or repeated infections
- Lymphoma – a cancer of the lymphatic system, which may present with persistent, painless swelling
- Metastatic disease – when cancer spreads from another part of the body (e.g., breast, lung, or melanoma) to the lymph nodes
- Abscess or infection – lymph nodes can fill with pus or fluid in severe bacterial infections
Symptoms of Lymph Node Problems
Symptoms may vary depending on the underlying cause and location of the affected lymph nodes.
Common signs include:
- Persistent or painless swelling in the neck, armpit, or groin
- Tender or painful nodes (often linked to infection)
- Hard or irregular nodes that don’t reduce in size
- Fever, night sweats, or unexplained weight loss
- Fatigue and low energy
- Recurrent infections or reduced immunity
Why Lymph Node Health Matters
While swollen lymph nodes are often harmless and linked to infections, persistent or unexplained changes may point to underlying conditions that require medical assessment.
A lymph node ultrasound provides a safe, accurate way to detect abnormalities early and guide further investigation if needed.

I got into the practice an hr early but was surprised that they could fit me in for my Ultra Sound. The staff were very friendly and I felt at ease due to being nervous about the whole situation. The Ultra Sound took about 15 mins it was thoroughly and surprisingly quick. After a year waiting for this i was pleased that i had booked with the hospital a good experience and i thank you all. I highly recommend the practice to anyone who is needing an Ultra Sound and surprisingly it was not that expensive.Posted on Jonny LethbridgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
